What is a 55hp Monk:
A 55hp monk(also known as invinca monks) is a smiting monk that uses runes and the -50hp Grim Cesta to get his/her health to 55. They use Protective Spirit to reduce all damage dealt to them to 10% of their health total or 5 damage. They then use Mending and Healing Breeze to give them max health regeneration. This makes them Invulnerable to everything except enchantment stripping as long as they don't over aggro to many enemies at time.
Weapons: The weapons you need and how to get them.
There are a variety of Weapons a 55hp monk uses. It is nessasary usually to have a 20% enchant mod. Here I'll show weapons and focus items that you can use for 55hp running.
Necessary:
-50 Health Grim Cesta:
This item is used to lower your health from 105 to 55. 55 health is the lowest you can get it without death penalty. With your health at 55 you only take 5 damage on each attack when you have Protective Spirit on yourself. If you do not use this you will find running either extremely challenging or impossible. You get the -50hp Grim Cesta as a reward after doing the Cities of Ascalon Quest in Ascalon City or it can be purchased from people.
Poor:(Really easy to get/Cheap[0-2k])
Fiery Flame Spitter of Enchanting:
This weapon is a common starter 55hp weapon. You can get it from Nicanor Gannel[Collector] in Pockmark Flats. After you acquire this weapon purchase a Enchant mod for axe(doesn't have to be max if you don't have the money for it) and place it on the Fiery Flame Spitter.

-20 Health Divine Symbol:
This weapon is used by 55hp monks after they have deaded once(15% Dealth Penalty). When you have it Equipped with 15% dealth penalty you will have 13 health. This means only 1 damage will be dealt to you each attack. Some times 55hp runners die before they even start the run just so they can use this with their Dealth Penalty. You get this item as a reward for doing the quest Poor Tenant quest which is located in Ascalon City Pre-Searing.
Rich:(Harder to get/Expensive[5k-30k])
Wayward Wand:
This is a fairly hard to get weapon. It is only avaiable in Divine path which is the endgame zone for factions. You can only get there by beating the last mission in Factions. To get this you have to trade an Amulet of the Mists to the Adept of Light. I don't recommend useing this because you can't put a 20% enchant mod on it.
You can get a non-green version from a weapons smith in Bukdek Byway for 5k. I recommend getting this rather than the Wayward Wand. The Weapon smith is named Sheco[Weapons].
+5 Energy Cleaver:
This is another endgame factions item. You can add a 20% enchant mod to it. You get it from Shichiroji[Weapons]. You get this in divine path the endgame Factions zone.
+5 Energy Katana:
This is yet another Factions endgame Item. You can add a 20% enchant mod to this too. You get this from Shichiroji[Weapons] in Divine Path, the Factions endgame zone.
Gold -20 Health Focus:
This is another item that gives you -20hp. It is used by 55hp monks after they have died once(15% Dealth Penalty) to get there health to 13. This makes them take only 1 damage each time their hit. This is randonly dropped by any creature. It is not likely you'll get this drop by farming, so you'll probably have to buy it.
Rajazan's Ferver:
This is a Green weapon dropped by the Cultist Rajazan boss in the Unwaking Waters Explorable Area. Perfect mods for 55hp running. Buy this weapon for no more than 15-25k. There is a Ranger Stratagy to Solo Razajan if you want to farm it yourself. Solo Farm Razajan's Ferver(Ra/?)
Totem Axe
This weapon is dropped by the Root Behemoths in The Falls. You can buy this wepon for 5-6k. It has perfect mods for 55hp running. If you want to farm your own Totem Axe theres a ranger and warrior stratagy.
Solo Farm Totem Axe(W/Mo)
Solo Farm Totem Axe(W/R)
Solo Farm Totem Axe(R/)
Armor: Different Armors you can use.
Please note that for a 55hp monk all armor gives the same performance. The idea of haveing expensive armor is for the looks and the looks only.
Poor:
If you don't have much Money to pay for armor you can buy the lions arch Ascetics Armor. It will cost less than 2,000 gold to buy the full set.
Lions Arch Ascetics Armor: (Samuka[Armor])
Scalp Design(Divine): Costs 4 Parchment and 150 Gold.
Ascetic's Chest Design: Costs 12 Parchment and 150 Gold.

Ascetic's Leg Design: Costs 8 Parchment and 150 Gold.
Ascetic's Foot Design: Costs 4 Parchment and 150 Gold.

Rich:

Droknor's Forge Ascetic's Armor: (Morgren[Armor]/Seifred[Armor])
Scalp Design(Divine): Costs 25 Parchment, 4 Feathers, and 800 Gold.

Ascetic's Foot Design: Costs 25 Parchment, 4 Feathers, and 800 Gold.
Very Rich:
If you have alot of money on your hands then you may want to get the Granite Citedeal Ascetic's armor. However, I don't recommend this.
Granite Citedal Armor Ascetic's Armor: (Hagen[Armor])
Scalp Design(Divine): None,
Ascetic's Chest Design: Costs 150 Vellum, 15 Feathers, and 8,000 Gold.

Runes: What runes you will need.
Each piece of your armor should have 1 superior Rune on it. That is 5 Superior Runes. Each Rune Gives -75 Health Makeing them very very important for 55hp running. You should use the following runes...
Rune of Superior Healing Prayers: Gives +3 Healing Prayers and -75 Health.
Rune of Superior Smiteing Prayers: Gives +3 Smiteing Prayers and -75 Health.
Rune of Superior Divine Favor: Gives +3 Divine Favor and -75 Health.

Stacking Enchantments: How to get through enchantment strippers.
Some of the creatures you’ll encounter remove enchantments, but only the enchantment on the top of your stack. So to keep them from removing protective spirit you’ll have to cover it up. The best skill to do this with is Healing breeze because it casts decently fast, recharges fast, and is something you can live without for a short amount of time. So here’s how to stack your enchantments on you so you don’t die from no Protective Spirit on yourself.
When you look in the upper left corner of your screen (If you’re using the default screen layout) you’ll see what conditions, hexs, stances, Shouts, and enchantments are on you. When you place an enchantment on your self that skills symbol appears in that corner of the screen. The oldest enchantment placed on you will be at the bottom of the stack (or will be the one to the left). The newest one placed on you will go on the top of the stack. Here’s an example below…

As soon as you exit Warcamp put on your three upkeep enchantments. Then use blessed signet to help you get to maximum energy. Run forward, you will see a fork in the path in front of you. Take the Right.
Now put on Protective spirit and Healing breeze and begin to run through the Stone Summit that are there. For this part you can try not to aggro them if you wish. It doesn’t matter if they do see you though, it’s just easier to get through them if they don't see you. If they do see you rememer to stack properly, they will probably remove Healing breeze. If they do recast it right away. As soon as you can use Rush to get away from them. You don’t need Spellbreaker yet.
You will quickly come to a choke point in front of you. Keep going recasting protective spirit and healing breeze as needed. You may also need to use blessed signet once and a while. On the other side of this choke point there will be creatures that knock down (via Giant Stomp) and use walking hexs on you. Run into them all. They will quickly place hexs on you that will force you to walk. Keep walking forward and as soon as the walking hex(s) are about to come off you cast Spellbreaker(be sure Malestrom isn't on you). Now they can’t recast these hexs on you. Activate Rush and get out of there! They will not knock you down as you run away because giant stomp is an Aoe skill and your not standing right next to them. They’ll soon stop following you. Now you’ll run into another group of them. Repeat the process and the portal will be almost right in front of you. You’ll think your homeward bound, but be careful. The Stone Summit in front of the portal still remove enchantments. So be sure to stack properly and recast Healing Breeze when they remove it and keep Protective Spirit from the top of the stack(maybe even wait for spellbreaker to recharge, they are quite annoying)!
Now as soon as you zone through the portal you’ll see a large mass of Ice Golem’s in front of you. Have your whole party (including you) run into them and get killed. You’ll all be resurrected at a shrine in front of the portal to Granite citadel. Run through it, no creatures will be in your way. You will have just completed a run to Granite Citadel.

How to:
You’ll be exiting Camp Rankor through the north Portal for this run. As soon as you do put on Balthazars Spirit and Mending. Then place Protective spirit on yourself. For the beginning of this run (until you zone into Grenths Footprint) you will most of the time not use healing breeze. At the beginning you’ll be fine as long as you don’t aggro to many on you. Be aware though that to your left there are groups of Griffins that have stone summit Heretics in them. Be sure not to aggro them if they are close because they do remove enchantments. Run forward (north) using Rush, at the very beginning you’ll be running through one group of griffins and nightmares. The Nightmares knock you down with Signet of Judgement. It is only going to be annoying, not a problem.
The next group will be a group of stone summit. There are Stone Summit Giant Herders in these groups so you will be knocked down a lot. But no worries activate rush and get as far away from them as you can. Eventually they’ll stop knocking you down and stop following you. Keep running north following the cliff wall to your right.
Eventually there will no longer be groups on Stone summit and Griffins. Now there will be groups of griffins and trolls (mostly trolls) that are mainly around the cave mouth. If you need energy or adrenaline stop and let them attack you a bit. They do not knock down and usually don’t completely surround you to the point in which you can’t escape them. You will need to use healing breeze if you intend to let them hit you until you have full energy.
Now keep going, you’ll see a cave mouth in front of you. If you’re not careful you can be trapped in that cave. At the mouth of it there will be A troll boss, an Ice Golem, and a few other normal “trolls”. The ice Golem will cast a hex on you that will make you walk. Then activate Sprint or Rush and keep going. At the other side of the cave there will be more trolls. Make a left. Now if you look careful you’ll see a Nitch in the cliff wall. Run up it and keep going north. You’ll encounter those evil giant things that knock you down a lot. Just keep going and they’ll eventually stop knocking you down. Use Rush or sprint to get away. There will be a cliff wall to your right. Just follow it up to the portal to Grenths Footprint. Now zone through it.
You have now just gotten through the easiest part of this run. At this part of the run there will be a lot of stone summit that remove enchantments. Don’t count on them not removeing them. So here you have to stack your enchantments and Spellbreaker. The Stone Summit also tend to put a lot of degeneration on you. Enough to completely negate the health regeneration from healing breeze and end you up with 2-health degeneration (even with both healing breeze and mending on you). So whenever you run through the stone summit you’ll need Spellbreaker both to keep them from stacking to many degeneration hexs on you and to keep them from removing your enchantments. Now at this point sense you’ll need to have so many enchantments on you you’ll have to use a lot of energy. So you’ll have to stop sometimes and let it comeback.
Now the first thing you do is cast Balthazars Spirit and Mending on yourself. Then wait until you regain a little energy. Now as soon as you have about 40 place Protective Spirit and Healing Breeze on yourself. Then move until you’re just out of their line of sight. Now cast Spellbreaker and run through them using sprint. When sprint runs out use rush. Get away from them as fast as you can. On the other side of them there is a short tunnel. Run through and take a right. You’ll see a group of trolls there. Stop in the middle of them and let them supply you with energy by hitting you. Beware of the Stone Summit nearby in front of you.
As soon as you have a good amount of energy from them and Spellbreaker is recharged place Protective Spirit and then Healing Breeze on yourself. You are doing this so they don’t run out in the middle of the next group of Stone Summit. They will anyway and you’ll have to recast them but if you cast them again right before you run into the stone summit you’ll be able to wait longer before recasting them. Now make your way right up close to the Stone Summit without them seeing you. Then cast Spellbreaker (beware the trolls can counter it) then run through the Stone summit (following the cliff wall to your right) using Sprint and then Rush. As soon as Spellbreaker runs out you’ll be about in the middle of them (or past that point), get out of them as fast as you can before they can stack on the Degeneration.
As soon as your away from them wait for your energy to recharge. Then cast Protective spirit and Healing breeze on yourself. In front of you there should be a group of Ice Golems. They have walking hexs so put Spellbreaker on yourself. Run through them and then take the next right. By “your next right” there will be the last group of stone summit. Just run through them and turn to the right. Warcamp will be right in front of you. You will have just completed a run to Warcamp.

Recast it right away. As soon as you can use Rush to get away from them. You don’t need Spellbreaker yet.

As you can see, I'm running it with Monk/Warrior without Balanced Stance. The latter is a waste for this run: There are only a few Azure Shadows in the easiest (first) part of the run, and you can easily deal with them.
For the first group, I'll get past the Aviacara and the Pinesouls, try to outrun the Guile if he follows you. Whenever there's a guile, you should scroll until you can see which skills he's using, when he uses Strip Enchant, you know you can just recast and you're safe for 20s.
Anyhow, let's keep going on. Past that first point with Aviacara and Pinesouls, there will be three Pinesoul groups, where three Azure Shadows will pop up whenever you come close (or 2 if there's a Blessed Griffon around). They use Signet of Judgement which knocks you down, but no worries. If you need to cast Protective Spirit, cast it while you are knocked down to secure the cast. Count the Azure Shadows, and count the times you are knocked down. After they all used their Signet of Judgement, sprint/rush away.
Next is the hard part, where the heretic is with a bunch of guiles on the road. Cast PS and SB before starting to run, they'll make you bleed so just cast Breeze on the road, then sprint, rush, try to outrun them. At all times you want to have your PS covered with breeze. That means everytime you need to cast Breeze, cast PS first then cover it with breeze. If you need to recast PS, cast it then cover with breeze. Try to monitor the Guile(s) like I did in the video to make it easier. Try to dodge traps if you can, but you have Purge Condition to save your life if anything bad happens (which happens often).
Once you're safe, the run is nearly over, two more groups each including a Guile to run through, but there's a safe point between them, so no worries. You don't *HAVE* to cast SB when there's only one guile around, just cover your Protective Spirit with Healing Breeze and monitor the Guile.

As soon as you zone through put on your 3 enchantments. Turn and go north until you reach the beach. You may incounter Oni along the way. They have a hex that makes you unable to cast spells for at least 10 seconds. If they pop up cast prot spirit and run out of them as fast as you can. If you stay close to them to long they'll cast there hex on you. If they do right before you break out of them. Just stand and wait without aggroing any more groups until it comes off you. Right in the jade water there will be a portal. Zone through it into Breaker Hollow.
Now zone back out of Breaker Hollow and put on your three enchantments once more. Turn to the west and begin running. Very soon you will find a choke point where theres a really Narrow troft you have to run through. At the bend there will be a group on Oni. Be sure to have prot spirit on you before you aggro them. Run out of them as fast as you can. As soon as you exit this troft turn right. There will be another group of Oni. Be careful. Run along the cliff wall that will be to your right until you reach the portal. You will probably have to run through Rot Wallows. Be sure to use healing Breeze. As soob as you reach the portal zone through it.
Warning: I recommend you have them pay you the full cost at Breaker Hollow. In Aspenwood Gate they can simply Zone into the mission and your whole party will be separated. You should charge 500-750 gold for this run.

Wardens strip enchantments. Run through the group useing sprint when your about half way through them. Make sure you make it out of them without them following you. Now as soon as you make it out wait without aggroing anything until spellbreaker is recharged. When it is Run South East. Oni may or may not pop out of the ground. If they do put on spellbreaker right away. Make sure to make it out of them and many Wardens to a place where you can hide and wait for spellbreaker to recharge. When it does recharge continue on into the next group of wardens with it on you. Repeat this until you reach the portal which isn't much farther away.
Now zone out of Lut Gardis Conservatory into Melandru's Hope. Put on your three main enchantments and run to the bridge. The mantis's between you and the bridge can sometimes give you alot of degen with hexs so I recommend you use spellbreaker. Make sure you get out of them fast!. After cross the bridge just turn and go west. Run through the dredge until you make it to the portal. Zone through it.
I recommend haveing them pay you at Lut Gardis Conservatory to avode scammers. Charge 750g to 1,000g for this run.

Desert Running in Tyria: How to run in the desert.
Augury Rock->Hero's Ascent->Dunes of Despair
Attributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 9
Skills:
-Healing Breeze
-Protective Spirit
-Blessed Signet
-Balenced Stance
-"Charge!"
-Sprint
-Mending
-Balthazar's Spirit
Map:
How to:
First Exit Augury Rocks Western Portal and put on your two upkeep enchantments. Now use blessed Signet to regain your energy until you have near maximum. Next put on Healing Breeze and Protective Spirit and run along the path I gave on the map throught the Sacarbs, Minotaurs, and Devourer's. Be sure to use balenced Stance when you run through Sand Elementals. Note that you pass the portal to vulture drifts on your way to Hero's Ascent. Your first stop is Hero's Ascent.
After you zone in zone right back out, put on your upkepp enchantments, and back track to the portal you passed earlier. This portal takes you to Vulture Drifts. As soon as you load it up put on your two upkeep enchantments and use blessed signet for energy. Now continue to run along the path I have marked. You will run through Sand Elemental's, Griffens, The Forgotten, and Scarabs. Use Balenced when you run through the Sand Elemental's. Eventually you will see the Dunes od Despair portal. Zone through it and your done!
Note: Jade Scarabs use Chilblains which will remove 1-2 enchantment(s) from you and deal AoE damage if they are right next to you. If you encounter them keep on the speed skills and they won't be a problem.
Augury Rock->Elona Reach
Attributes:
Healing: 13
Protection: 12
Divine: 12
Tactics: 9
Skills:
-Healing Breeze
-Protective Spirit
-Blessed Signet
-Balenced Stance
-"Charge!"
-Sprint
-Mending
-Balthazar's Spirit
Map:
How To:
First exit Augury from its Northern Portal. Put on yout two upkeep enchantments. Now place on Protective Spirit and run through the hydras useing sprint and charge. Follow the path leading to the North East. Use Blessed Signet when ever you need energy. Eventually you'll reach a teleporter. Use it. The portal to the next zone is just north from the teleporter. Zone. Now continue to run through creatures you encounter. You may see a teleporter. You can use it if you want to but I don't recomend it. When you see the teleporter keep going east. Eventually you will see a bend. Take a right around it. Now go north until you encounter another bend. Turn left and run straight. Elona Reach is right infront of you.
Conclusion:
Now after reading this you should know how to 55hp run both in Cantha and in Tyria. 55hp running is a great way to make money and now you know how. Good luck!

Nice guide, though I might ask why you would even include the "rich" versions of the armors. As any armor at all works just fine, and LA Ascetic's are just as good as Droks Ascetic's in this instance.
Also, there are collector's that offer the same wand as the Wayward Wand.

Different armors, dunno why i posted them like that. Although some people like to 55hp farm in "Richly"(aka cerb who 55hp farmed in fissure armor).
Tell me where the collectors that give you the wayward wand replicant are please so i can add.

Lol, talk about farming richly. Sorry, I can't find a collector, though I could have sworn there was one. I'll keep looking though, but in the mean time the weapons crafter in Vasburg Armory will craft you a 20 / 20 Cast / Charge Prot rod for 5k, 40 Iron, 6 Chitin.

Simple enchantment stacking will stop it, but it happens so rarely that you don't usually need to
When you stop they usually hit you before casting anything. It only gets dangerous if you get trapped near them or surrounded.

I never really considered trying a 55 monk build before because the superior monk runes were so dang expensive in the past. I seem to recall a few months back to get the full set of monk superior runes it would have cost me over 50k which I had nowhere near that amount. Now that the costs have dropped to about 15k for the full set and is affordable to me then I may give this a shot.
Is there anything behind the drop in the cost for the monk superior runes? Before I go out and blow money on them I want to make sure that they aren't nerfing anything.

I think the rune prices dropped because of the realease of factions and/or they made drops more common. They may or may not nerf 55hp. I have no idea, although its farming and running. Its not to much of a big deal. Lots of class's can farm and run.

"This weapon is a common starter 55hp weapon. You can get it from the collector in Pockmark Flats. He is only there when you have favor. After you acquire this weapon purchase a Enchant mod for axe(doesn't have to be max if you don't have the money for it) and place it on the Fiery Flame Spitter."
Just FYI the bit about favor is 100% W R O N G
I like the rest of the guide however, good job!

i agree with this, alot of the professions are able 2 run (if you have aquired the correct skills) IMO, nerfing 55hp wouldnt b that big of a deal, mainly most of the things that u cna do with a 55 monk u can also do with a wammo(excluding uw).
and with the running, i dont even use 55 hp for running, i find the mo/r serpants quickness, stormchaser, dodge, spellbreaker, build to b more effective in southern shiverpeaks, just my oppinion.

Not really. I have been to his spot without favor and there was no collecter. Later I went there when we have favor. He was actually there. I didn't mess up. However I'll check this out.

Actually warriors can solo UW. Yes Mo/R is very efficent. This is simply another way to do it. Its challenging but when you get used to it its very easy.
